Established in 1948

Creswell Clay Target Sports has been the long-time destination for shooters looking to improve their shot, make friends, and have fun doing so. Shooting a round of clay targets has always been one of our favorite activities. We are a member club with very reasonable annual and daily memberships available. We know that shooting clay targets can be intimidating to those who have not done so before, but that’s not the case here! We love getting the chance to share our knowledge and experience with new shooters. Instruction sessions are available on a case-by-case basis. Grover’s Gunners Youth Team

Grover’s Gunners Youth Team trains and competes in all clay target sports. Participants must be at least 12 years of age, and a youth membership is required. The team meets on Tuesday nights and attends various events. The team is always looking to welcome new shooters! If interested, fill out our contact form.

Skeet Shooting

In 1920 in the town of Andover, Massachusetts, a small group of upland game hunters took to shooting clay targets as a means of practicing their wing shooting.

Trap Shooting

The sport was first practiced in the United States early in the 19th century and was popular by midcentury in a number of areas, notably Cincinnati, Ohio, and the New York City area.
